Mr. Louis Fireison is founder of the firm, and his practice focuses on litigation. He has served as principal counsel in hundreds of civil and criminal cases including family law, traffic offenses, personal injury and wrongful death cases, products and premises liability, motor vehicle collisions and professional negligence matters. He also has represented businesses and individuals in commercial and real estate litigation matters.

Mr. Fireison is a member of the Association of Trials Lawyers of America, the American Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar, the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, the D.C. Trial Lawyers Association, the Maryland State Bar Association and the Historical Society of the Supreme Court of the United States. He has been a voting delegate to the Judicial Conference of the District of Columbia Courts.

Mr. Fireison has been a guest lecturer at UCLA and the University of New Hampshire. He has taught trial advocacy skills to attorneys as a member of the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy training program for trial lawyers at the Georgetown University Law Center and George Washington University School of Law. He is the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Legislation and the American University Law School Alumni Award.

In addition to his professional responsibilities as an attorney, Mr. Fireison has served as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan Center for Assaulted Persons, served on their Executive Committee and as General Counsel to the organization.
